Have 3 different environments, one big place at the deep down to big family’s or groups, second space at the front very tradicional and the last is a very nice terrace outside full of lights perfect for spring and summertime The food is a traditional southern food, recommend the crabs sandwich in croissant bread and sweet potatoes chips! they regular coffee and a few desserts! Totally recommended!!!
What a great little find. This is both a local spot and a 'Cool Aunt '. Restaurant. Clearly, the Auburn faculty come here for a casually upscale meal. Students also let an adult out of town visitor get them something refined. Cuisine-wise, the portions are just right and the house soup is delicious. The wine racks are a nice bonus in their special event space. Vegetarians will have no worries here. Wheelchair folks should call ahead and parking will be tricky. The patio is lovely. The staff too were great. They made strong recommendations and were helpful.
This is the best restaurant I have been to in a very long time. The food was excellent. I had the delicious vegetable soup and my husband had the fried green tomatoes. He enjoyed his smoke brisket reuben and I loved the pesto pasta! The wait staff was very courteous. Everyone we came in contact with in the restaurant were extremely nice and helpful. Can't say enough about this fine restaurant.
Our waitress provided great service. The food was excellent. I recommend going to Amsterdam Cafe for a nice meal.
The Amsterdam Cafe is a wonderful place to eat. They have a longstanding reputation for serving many tasty and unique house specialties. The indoor/outdoor restaurant atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, and the staff is helpful and professional. Their food truck permits Amsterdam Cafe to even travel to local offsite destinations. Restaurant owners, the Cleveland family, are long time Auburn residents that see the value in supporting local youth development causes and organizations. Even during difficult economic times, they have stepped up to give back. I'm thinking one of their turkey wraps with house-made sweet potato chips would taste great about now. Maybe I'll get a side of those fried green tomatoes. These are the generous community connected folks we need to support!
