Forthright Cafe - Austin

Awesome food and service! The brunch menu was diverse and creative.

Love this place! Especially loved the Brussels sprouts and the roasted chicken w carrots! Cocktails are fab. Tables on the patio are so lovely and right next to town lake for a romantic walk after.

The food is fabulous! We have had numerous brunches and several dinners at Forthright. The staff is so friendly and the service is great. A homerun in our opinion.

I've been wanting to try Forthright ever since I moved to Austin. Although I placed a reservation for inside, I was seated outside. This made it a bit noisy; however, the weather was lovely and the table and chairs were comfy. I ordered the avocado toast on gluten free bread. It was delicious! Fresh and simple. It was a little pricey for the amount of food I got; then again, I don't mind supporting a local business during these tough financial times. Will definitely be back to try some of their other tasty options!

Most of the staff was very rude and condescending. The Waiter we had was friendly. The food was fine but sort of cold. Over rated and would not wait to eat here or be excited to tell someone about it
