I came here with my partner for Valentine's Day dinner. we ordered the menu “fixed price” that came to $200 in total. I am not concerned about the price, as this was a special occasion. but the quality of the food was disappointing and seemed to decrease with each successive cure. starter: brie, feige and prosciutto crostini offered promising aromen, but were too big and very filled. salat: saat with pistachios. well dressed and delicious, but very neat. there was really nothing about this salat except how enormous it was, almost a whole boxed mixed greens with vinaiigrette, pomegranate and cheese. the choice to fried the lobster, cultivated an already heavy meal. everything was served over too salty cheeses. the best part were the crispy, beautified brittle sprouts. dessert: what they expect to be the crowing jewel of a romantic meal was the greatest disappointment. my, the “fruit license note” was a fudling and, honestly, served coarse cherry cake with cherry sauce and roasted pepitas. the builders just didn't belong. but the worst part was that the baked was both cold and old, the herbal shortening taste (and greasy floor) reminded of a tankstelle handpise. my partner has been served what we believe to be a sortiment of food snacks — fat, stale kartoffel chips, stale churros, stale food business biscuits, underripe strawberries and stale, definitiw not restaurant-baked bananenbrot — with rusty of chocolate and dulce de leche sauce to dip. the sauces were the only good part. I can see when a dessert is good and I just don't like it by personal taste. but they were lawfully bad. they would have been better to make a batch of cream brûlée or mouse tassen. the only rise was the creativity and mood of desserts. otherwise, bad menu planning and execution. not sure that I will return to the din here.
We made a reservation here on Valentine's Day, which was as expected busy. the restaurant was underoccupied and not well trained. we waited 15 minutes before we get water glasses and the waiter came minutes later to take our order. we gave our drink and dinner order at a time when we saw the service was slow. our dinner came fast, but no drinks; we had to ask for them again. eating was good, but not quite as described on the menu. the restaurant is quite loud and they would think a newer restaurant would have planned a good absorption. I have never had so slow and unattended service especially in a nicer restaurant. there are many other good restaurant options to spend their hard earned money.
My first review has roasted the service because it was amazingly bad, but I have scratched it because I don't want someone to be fired. I want to write this, because I really didn't want to send a friend here after I had the experience I had this year on Valentine's Day. main points server are inexperienced and the worth is terrible $162 for a steak, terrible ahi tuna mound, 4 drinks and a side tip.) be better!
Brisket burger was fantastic. Honestly, best bun I’ve had on any burger, ever (which is a weird thing to praise, but you’ll get it when you have one)—patty itself was great, obviously. Spicy broccoli, meatballs, fries, and lamb lollipops also were all delicious. We both loved our drinks as well. We will definitely be returning.
