We were immediately greeted and handed menus and a bottle of water. Our only complaint would be towards the spring rolls, however we did substitute the shrimp for chicken, but they lacked flavor. We ordered chicken and beef pho, and they were delicious! The broth was tasty and there was a nice balance of noodles to broth. Bonus! There's an international grocery store next door with lots of wonderful finds!
Loved this place! they were very quick and customer service was top notch. the food was also very good and for the best price, i was very impressed. the thai tea was not too sweet which i loved but had a rich strong thai flavor.
I've been here twice and this is hands down the best pho place I've been in austin. I got the bun bo hue the first time and the classic pho the second time. Both were very good.
Best Pho North of the Colorado River (I like 888 better but the lines there on the weekend can get so long). I also really like the Bo Luc Lac, its not perfect but certainly better than I can expect from Austin Vietnamese Food scene. Weekend specials are great like the Mi Vi Tim, Hu Tieu Mi. With the MVT you get a separate dish of Goi and Vit. Its Vietnamese comfort food at is finest.
We always see this place heading to Chinatown. Today we stopped in for dinner. Everything was perfect! We ordered, Beef and Mushroom, Combination Fried Rice, Combination Pho, Fried Dumplings and Spring Rolls. Customer service was awesome. Loved our waiters humor. We had a late dinner and seemed to get extra attention. We had more than one person check on us to make sure all was well. Great prices as well. Thanks! We will return!
