This place is a hidden gem you would never know it's there in Avon Lake unless you live close by. It's in a mixed use shopping plaza that only locals are aware of. The food is excellent and the family that owns the restaurant were friendly, attentive and entertaining. Our group of 4 each had a different seafood dish and every dish was amazing. Atmosphere is very nice although while we had a late Friday night reservation the restaurant was not very busy. They offer a nice varied menu along with fun unique cocktails. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice evening out with friends or if celebrating a special event.
Spanish food is so delicious and fresh and a wonderful value. I believe everything here is scratch made. Many choose to order tapas (small plates) but we really enjoy ordering entrees and sharing and having all the wonderful sides. Sharing is always encouraged and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Entrees for lunch and dinner come with soup or salad, steamed or sautéed vegetables, saffron rice and bread. Park at the door, walk right in, no steps for your mobility-challenged friends. We have enjoyed basa fish with white wine caper sauce, garlic soup, ceviche, Mariscado verde (mixed seafood), and several paellas.Parking: I like bringing my mom here because the parking is very easy and there are no steps.
Visiting a friend that recommended Ibiza. 3 of us enjoyed 3 Spectacular Dinners w/ Excellent Service. Dressed casual but noticed the beautiful interior with cloth table cloths thought maybe we were under dressed however felt we were more than welcome. Wish I could share photo's of the beautiful presentation of each dish tried my first Spanish Coffee WOW, each friend then too ordered a Spanish Coffee. Of course I could not finish the large portions because I had to save room for cheese cake, one of many delicious dessert options. My mind at this time was more focused on the delicious food than taking photo's2 days later could not get Ibiza off my mind so we order take out. We ordered for a 2nd time a seafood soup with mussels, shrimp, scallops a bisque base to absolutely die for (Sopa De Ajo) our entree this evening was Mariscada Verde (Huge Portions) consisted of scallops, shrimp, lobster muscles cooked in a white wine sauce served with a fresh garden salad, fresh homemade bread, fried rice mixed with a touch of vegetables and a large portion of delicious steamed carrot Strips, broccoli cauliflower.Everything was Incredible but certainly missed my Spanish Coffee.Cannot wait to return Avon Lake and enjoy another Perfect lunch or dinner with Excellent Service and Beautiful Comfortable Atmosphere at IbizaParking: Ibiza is located at the back corner of a small shopping strip
Tucked away in a cozy corner of a set of bars and other stores in Avon Lake, Ibiza serves Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. Cocktails are strong and each dish bursts with regional taste served with an upscale flair by waiters staff who dress to impress. I went on what seemed to be a slow night. The wait staff were quick to rend to my questions of their menu and taking my drink, appetizer, and main course order. My wait time wasn't too long. I had the white sangria based on recommendation from the wait staff. I was very happy it wasn't too sweet and well balanced with citrus flavors in the white wine. The fried calamari wasn't too greasy and was served crisp and warm. My short rib was bursting with flavor and tasty ever bite, unfortunately the Spanish rice it was served on a bit cold. The stuffed salmon with crabmeat blended the salmon and crab meat taste well along with the hunt of aromatic spices. Very well done. The flan tasted nice. The Flaming Spanish Boozy Coffee was a show stealer. This boozy drink is made table side that is almost a performance worthy sow with fire and flaming sparks. It's a strong boozy coffee that big enough to share between two. Not to be missed for first time patrons. The price point, IMHO, is little high when compared to portion size and the overall experience. However not so high to deter patrons. Ibiza is well suited for date night to impress or family celebrating special occasion.
