Outside area opposite the restaurant on the square. good menu and worth. pleasant service and good experience recommended.

We have lunch here frequently and find the quality excellent, the price reasonable and the service spot on. The prix fixe is great value with local daily specials. The tag on the menu is generous and tasty (copieuse et savoreuse) and I couldn't agree more....Upstairs is bright and spacious while downstairs has the bustle of the town square local, particularly since the refurbishment in April 2022). When the sun is out, the big parasols give shade while the world wanders past. Pizzas are typically french loads of toppings with a slightly more pastry textured base than the Italian version, burgers are heart, pasta tasty, steaks and grilled meats well cooked and seasoned. Mussels are particularly fabulous. The salads and gratins are thoughtfully put together, the puddings almost too generous cafe gourmande really is for the greedy! Think we've tried everything on the menu over the years and never had a dud. There's a reason it is one of our favourite lunch spots in Avranches

Much nicer on the inside than it looks from outside this Brasserie style restaurant was very busy on a Monday night as it seemed to be the only place open in the town. . The menu is typical for this kind of restaurant, pizza ,...salads, moules frItes, grilled meat and fish. The food was tasty, portions generous and although rushed off their feet all the waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming even with those English tourists whose French was a bit lacking.
