The taunus therme has been there for over 30 years. in the 80s the therm is burned once and was rebuilt. in the following years the therme was continued without great changes. they enjoyed a unique feature in a large catchment area until the opening of the rhein main therme. only so it can be possible to keep a constant high entry price over years. now in 2015, all renovations and rebuilding measures are completed. therme in kassel is built in a similar style. in the entrance area is the then modern Chinese style. the new Hamam building is located in the rear area in the basement and is absolutely worth seeing. numerous swimming pools, steam baths distort the visitor stream (the area in the old building was very limited to cold weeks). in old building it goes rustic with fireplace, quarry stone tiles, pagodas and a botanical garden as a small restroom. in the saunas is available for every taste and every temperature range, up to 100 grad sauna. Despite the long-term renovation and rebuilding measures, I must say that in some areas the system still looks taken. in the bed caves look gambley ventilators from the deck, switches for the warm beds look like they were taken from a machine of the 70s. the color was simply sticked around. just small things. but happy to come back!
