Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe visited the house in the tower after a hike around the opposite. the place, the eating, the personal. it was all excellent! we had the thunfish tataki and bark tar as appetizer followed by roast beef and veal carvings that were absolutely excellent. honest and clean...international kitchen, great price quality value and large portions. a super friendly young man was our waiter and at the end of the evening the cook even came to our table to welcome us. we will not forget this at night and will definitely try to make it soon! Thank you. house in the tower
While I lived in this beautiful city, I was a miracle and happened on this picturesque little place. I came in and the facility was simply beautiful and welcoming with smiling staff. I came to the day later, so it was finished. of the service, and the staff has double checked me why was still available what was really nice. I had a traditional German dish and it was just perfectly cooked. I had a magnificent view of the outdoor background garden sat on a beautiful linen covered table. my food was quickly and well presented, while the tasting was simply perfect, the meat just fell apart. I think a little more attentiveness would have been better, but it is understandable if it was the end of the service and an idiot like I keep them there an additional 30 minutes and he is English in it. I would recommend this place definitiw for the family or for a beautiful Sunday dinner. the journey worth it. then they walk to the beer garden at the river only 15/20 minutes to foot and they will have a wonderfully chilled start to their day.
Beautiful atmosphere, good eating, friendly staff and a good choice of the weine made this family dinner a great experience
Disappointing visit! I have to report our last visit since our previous reviews seem to be obsolete with the change of management? We liked in previous visits the location, the friendly service, the wine and the food. The first three parameters have not changed, i.e....the place, friendly service and good wine. We were disappointed with the food. I ordered trout that was served over a bed of fresh asparagus and potatoes The “bed” was not particularly large, but the trout was a small filet square of about 8 cm side! probably less than a quarter of a medium sized trout. The preparation was straightforward, pan fried . Trout fried OK but the small potatoes rather hard. The price for this small portion was 24€50. This is a main dish, not a fancy appetiser! Also ordered a veal carpaccio that thinly covered the bottom of the plate but it was not bad. For us the visit was rather a rip off for small and not particularly good dishes. Unfortunately I will remove this restaurant from my list of favourites!
Lovely setting in beautiful little village. Great outdoor eating area and very friendly staff. Menu very limited and the usual German menu items. Could be a little more adventurous. Overall Very pleasant will go back.
