We ate in Ellie McGuires Ballindine today.The restaurant is warm comfortable and laid out with beautiful taste.The staff even warmer in welcome.Super food.Exceptional service.Good value.We will be back.

Decided to get lunch here with my son on our way back from Mayo. After looking at the menu which looked like very basic to me,we decided to order a chicken curry chewy chicken pieces,curry powder mixed with gravy and spongy mushrooms,no seasoning or love put in a such a simple dish to get wrong! The pasta dish supposed to be a carbonara….. overcooked cheap pasta from Musgrave,lumps of rashers leftover from breakfast and the same mushrooms than the curry which I suspect were from a can…..disgraceful! Please get yourself a favour and get a decent chef before the ship totally sinks

We often pop in here food regularly and always have good service but after today will never go here again. Waitress took our order, my partner ordered his chicken dinner and I ordered a soup combo gluten free tuna and cheese sandwich. We waited a few minutes and then the waitress came back and said the kitchen staff don't have time to make a gluten free sandwich today. I was totally shocked and asked why to which she answered I don't know.... We cancelled our order and left. There was lots of free tables in the restaurant. Never before has this been a problem. My advice to anyone if they are a coeliac or gluten intolerant is to avoid

Our visit to Ellie’s was nothing short of spectacular. The staff was pleasant and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!!
