Lazzar Wines - Balnarring

We had dinner for a friend in lazzars and we had such a wonderful night. the service was so friendly, the wee beautiful, the menu extensive and the eating was spectacular. there were ten of us for dinner and everyone loved their meal and the night. the entertainment was also perfect, as two gitarists played beautiful music in the evening. if they are looking for a place to celebrate a family event or just to get a nice dinner, then they will not be disappointed!

This warm, humble and high-quality weingut was a real surprise and a must visit place to dinner. we drove over the half island of morning to come to this place on recommendation from a friend and it was worth the trip. the incredible eating was really like... nothing we ever had before. the chef has a secret mix of crumble and seasoned, combined with fresh, locally grown ingredients. we ate fattyuccine puttenesca (omg! and fattyuccine marina (perfection!) and can recommend both these dishes. we followed this with homemade dessert and a few glasses merlot. worte cannot describe how great it was. the worst was that the bowl was not groundless and we had to stop eating when my food was ready. the host, don and sandra, are beautiful and have made us feel so welcome that we have the best possible night. we have worked through melbourne, great ocean road and mornington peninsula and had only wonderful meals, but this place was really a highlight. there's a big heart on this place, quick inside!

Lazzar’s is our local meeting point for excellent eating, beautiful weine and wonderfully welcome hospitable friendship from sandra dom, chef gyhl and live acoustic from theo and rhys. we love to come here on a Friday night, it is much like welcome in the poor of the close, comfortable people (like family or those old slippery type friends). they can easily melt into the relaxed, warm atmosphere, enjoy the delicious sparkles as apertif, then in the delicious cuisine on offer Friday night offers a special deal of pizza or pasta plus salat plus garlauchbrot plus glass wein for just $30.00, the middle eastern style that regularly changes and the complete menu with a wide range of pizza, pasta and extras. the weeping here are lukecious, especially the merlot, it is like in her mouth! let them now talk about the two acoustic guitarists theo and rhys, who play every Friday night, their love to music and gitarre will take them on a musical wave all night. it's just magical. we love lazzars, we're pretty sure they too. Get down there!

Had a beautiful dinner at Lazzars with friends. Love it here. Been toooo long between visits. Everyones meals were so tasty and well presented. Lovely atmosphere and Don and Sandra are the best hosts. Chef came out to check all was ok. Said how amazingly...tasty it was. Need her to cook for me at home. Everyone must try it if you haven't before.
