Cafe Restaurant Michaelsberg - Bamberg

O restaurante fica num local lindo, com uma bela vista da cidade. Além disso, a comida é muito boa, bem como as cervejas!

I was with my friends in this restaurant and must say that we were somewhat disappointed. we had to wait forever for our coffee and the potato soup I ordered needed over half an hour. that the selection and complexity of the feeds keeps within limits and the suppe was probably already finished and is only briefly heated, that was just too long. especially since I had to get my train and so the suppe had to reorder again.On my question, when it would finally come, I received from the service only the flat-rate answer "same".For a small ice chocolate my friend paid 4,80€, which is almost more expensive than in the ice cream.It can be nicely sitting outside, but I can't recommend this restaurant.

We were back in bamberg and on Sunday at Café michaelsberg. soup cream soup, rehragout from!heimischer jagd! with monasteries and red herb, st. pierre in sesame coat with rice, freshly roasted bevelled with crumbs - each with inlay salad. apfelstrudel and Bavarian cream as dessert. the food was handmade, without flavor enhancers, fresh, on the point and very excellent. the portions completely sufficient! the service tipopp - even those who please, my two commands, to halve the fish and the two-belt meat each and that one as an appetizer, the other as main feed was met without discussion. I stay with my first one-shoulding - you have to look for a long time in bamberg to eat so well and also be served friendly. we'll go back there if we're in bamberg.

We sat in the garden of the restaurant and enjoyed coffee and cake with great views of the roofs of bamberg and the surrounding landscape. back to the city you should go on the benediktinerweg (below the terrace).

Beautiful location with views over the city, places on the terrace under shady donating trees, more dedicated, flyer service. good coffee and cake specialties.
