I would recommend both a stay and a meal at this Inn. The food is wonderful, the cook is amazing, the staff is friendly and friendly. The menu is limited but has a lot to choose, including seafood, beef, chicken and pig choices. My favorite is the Tenderloin Beef, done to perfection as I like it. Meals are always paired with a beautiful melody of vegetables and a selection of strength. They offer a special on Wednesday called wine below Wednesday, where all bottles of wine are half price. They have early bird specialties that are from this world and are reasonably expensive. On a Thursday a month they have a wine tasting dinner. This is not to miss, ask with Inn Keeper how it is on Thursday. Reservations are required for this event. The appetizers are many and delicious. They make many weddings, banquets and meetings. I was for all kinds and eating whether a 5-course dinner or buffet lunches were made with style class and taste. There is a small lounge with couches and a bar, a fireplace and an atmosphere. The restaurant also has a fireplace. The banquet rooms are sufficiently large or small for any kind of assembly. The pavilion is beautiful and the perfect place to exchange vows. So if you want to sit at the fire, or the windows on the lake (from the distance), see the beauty of changing leaves, or just sit and relax with a glass of wine or cocktail this is the place for you. The ride is not far from Bangor or Ellsworth. It is worth the trip and if it is too far, the night prices remain reasonable and packages are available. For those who opt for golf, there is an untouched 18-hole course on the grounds and over the street from the Inn.
