When I want a good pizza theirs is a certainty for years! !
Apart from a bit of waiting well compensated by an unforeseen entré and the first was also a little shaken for the rest good quality and surely I will return.
You can not wait an hour for a miserable grill that had nothing fresh and half an hour for a coffee on a lunch break.
I consider reviews an important element for those who travel and find themselves in a new place never knowing how to enter a place if it will be up to its expectations, with reviews you have the responsibility to give a correct and impartial information not a judgment. The ancient Cascina is a restaurant pizzeria in the Baranzate area in Milan, the location being in the outskirts offers the possibility to park the car without too much difficulty in the street, the room is not very large but with tables and chairs in wood and quite comfortable (lightly narrow when it is full}, the tablecloth from 4 highlights the elegance typical of the restaurant. The waiting times a little long so I discourage it in a hurry but absolutely justified because I took the start of the house and a very good first. Food quality 5 Price 4 The room has an inadequate number of tables for the capacity is not allowing the waiters to work well and the commensali to be too close. Menù 4 It does not have a great variety of choice but what is offered is prepared with wisdom and attention, an explosion of all well defined flavors that justify the wait. Considering €12,00 a dish of salmon fettuccine with Calabrese capocollo in lemon sauce even if I waited 40 minutes, eating at Antica Cascina is certainly an experience I recommend to all. I include with the service, friendly staff and available. Follow me to read all my reviews around the beautiful country.
