We have been to this restaurant several times, and were happy until this recent visit. Our server was amazing. But the food was underwhelming. I ordered the salmon, which was extremely overcooked. The couscous was overcooked as well. The sautéed spinach was delicious. My husband ordered the ravioli. It was just OK. Overall, I was disappointed in the food, especially for the price. They also need to add some extra lighting in the entryway. It’s very easy to miss one of those dark steps.
Ordered a NY strip medium, steak was extremely over. Closer to well done than even medium well. The rest of the food was all decent, but not really what I expected for the price. We were just visiting the area but wouldn't come
We wanted to give this place a chance due to the mixed reviews some were 5 stars and raving, and others were horrible. Let me just tell you, do NOT waste your time.It is a bit difficult to locate the entrance, as it is not well marked and not visible from the ground when you walk up, but luckily we saw this on the reviews ahead of time and were prepared to search a bit.We called hours ahead and made a reservation, and then when we arrived it was utter chaos and disorganization. Guests were crammed into the entryway waiting at the host stand, while 2 hostesses came and went multiple times without acknowledging people or saying really anything. We had an 8:15 reservation, arrived early, and didn’t get seated until about 8:45. There was no communication except for the initial “we’re getting your table ready” when we first checked in.We should have trusted the bad reviews when it came to the food. The quality does not match the price AT ALL. I ordered the ravioli with Italian sausage, and was given rock hard over cooked pieces of sausage in unappealing clumps on top of clearly store bought tomato sauce and lackluster raviolis. My fiancé ordered the ribeye, which was cooked medium to his request, but seemed like a store bought steak and wasn’t very impressive. The Brussels sprouts were good.Very disappointed and upset at the price we paid for one star food at best.
This was a total miss for us and it came highly recommended. It was not easy to find the front entrance as it 's tucked under the stairs if the main building entrance. Once inside it is dank and dark.We were seated immediately and the hostess was kind. The waitress was abrupt, not very nice, and would disappear for large pockets of time. She was cocky about the bourbon selection we have everything yet it was a miss on the first 3 we requested. We ordered appetizers that were ok at best and not worth the price.Presentation was lack luster and food was fair. Blackened steak tips were overcooked and chewy. Shrimp cocktail was basic and the warm brie salad was served like from a diner. We decided to leave and get dinner elsewhere. Would not recommend.
