We went from exhibition road patna, to quila house, by ola, and it was difficult to reach there because nobody knows quila house there and the cab driver was just not interested in following google map to reach there. The place is in a very far off difficult to reach area. And after reaching there we were not allowed inside because ITS A PRIVATE MEUSUEM . Turns out we have to take permission for visit from dak bunglow area patna, which is extremely far. Nowhere in google it was mentioned that is its a private meusuem, we just wasted 700 rs. in going there and coming back.
Qila House belongs to the famous Jalan family of Patna, Bihar. It's situated at Quila Rd, Hajiganj, Patna, Bihar. It's having a museum in which many priceless antiques are displayed. To have a visit a prior permission is required by the owner. It's built on the some ruins of Sher Shah Suri Fort.
A private residence on the banks of the Ganga, it is home to the Jalan family and houses an impressive collection of objets d'art antiques that can be seen by appointment.
A must visit for everyone.Since it is a private museum, it is required to take a prior appointment to visit. The museum has some of the best collection of antiques that might not be in Patna museum or Bihar museum. The staffs are very cooperative and they guide through the whole collection. Overall, a memorable trip.
