Staying locally and just fancied Chinese for dinner, as a solo female traveller I find it more comfortable to get a take away than sit alone in a restaurant. Searched the high st in Barking for a take away but could only see this restaurant, but no clear sign they did takeaway. I popped my head in and asked if they did, the lovely friendly guy behind the till said yes and helped me choose what I fancied. A delicious spiced sweet and sour, huge chunks of chicken and full of fresh veg and delicious pineapple. Then chicken fried rice, again delicious. All of this plus a can of pop, and a great chat with the staff! And for under £10...job done!
We were pleasantly surprised Saturday night and no one in the restaurant however did raise few question marks but entered anyway We ordered from the all you can eat menu large choose on the menu food was gorgeous all cooked fresh which was perfect service was good as well. Only criticism was that food took forever to arrive thing due to the fact take away orders seemed to fly out. Was nice experience decor could do with a quick coat of paint to freshen place up but certainly worth a visit
Excellant waiter service, reasonably priced and good food. Would use again. Initial order of Singapore noodles had seseame seeds sprinkled on top not mentioned in description. Waiter arranged for a fresh dish with no fuss or added costs.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday and one word perfectly describes my experience - disappointing! This sentiment applies to the food, decor, and service. I believe the restaurant should be renamed to the Unfortunate Inn.
