Barnsley House

I booked a spa day and it was absolutely amazing! The sauna, plunge pool, and water jets were fantastic. The massage therapy was exceptional and much needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I also enjoyed a delicious sandwich made with aged cheddar and chutney on freshly baked bread. Thank you all for making my spa day so relaxing. Wishing you all warmest Christmas greetings!

The staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was outstanding. The food was excellent. I wholeheartedly give it a thumbs up!

I had a delightful lunch at The Village pub, which was then followed by a relaxing afternoon at the spa. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are stunning.

We’ve stayed at Barnsley House a few times now and everytime we have the most relaxing and lovely experience. It’s our all time favourite place to visit so made sure it was the first place we supported and visited after lockdown. We have just arrived home after our first night away after lockdown for my partners birthday and we feel so relaxed after yet again the most peaceful and perfect night away at Barnsley House. We have tried several of their different rooms now and highly recommend their stable suites. They have worked so hard on implementing lots of new normals into their house to line up with the new government covid rules and have done it very well indeed including providing spare face masks in our room and introducing QR codes of which are so easy to use and well set up. I can’t fault this place. Their extra special touches of complimentary home made chocolates, champagne and a birthday card for my partner was also such a lovely treat! Thank you. The staff are also all so lovely, helpful and friendly. We went to the Village Pub for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was perfect and our waiter was super friendly and provided top quality service. A second visit for us and we couldn’t fault it. Superb service with friendly staff with nothing too much trouble. A really magical place
