Southern Belle's - Barrington

Bonuts were good and unique. I enjoyed a skillet with was very good and came with pancakes. Portion size was gigantic which wasn't necessary and I would share a meal or see if can get smaller portion. We sat next to kitchen exit and would have liked to sit anywhere else as the atmosphere we saw was mop bucket. The lavender lemonade was very good too.

Bellow average breakfast place!!! Waited 55 minutes for an eggs pancakes breakfast.

Food was tasteless, coffee is better at McDonald's. Service was great, too bad the food didn't couldn't live up to the service.

Update Dec 27, 2022: came back here to try breakfast. Food was very good (omelettes, hash browns, pancakes, English muffin) — so that part I give 4 stars. Coffee with Kahlua was cold. Need to make the coffee extra hot if you're going to pour something cold into it! Plus the coffee itself wasn't very good. No cream on our table, so I had to go look for cream at an empty table and take it from there. Server (young man, don't know his name) was obviously not wanting to be there today.
