Scallop Basket with hand-ground onion rings and the Lobster egg rolls. The fresh Maine Scallops were so juicy! OMG! The onion rings were just as good. I took my meal with a LOBSTER eggroller. Sooooooo glad I left! We'll go back.
A road trailer is worth it, from the road for.. We were in a place near this street torch so we had to give it a shot. We went back a second time. The owner freyer prepared the food as if he did it for his own family. All we had there was fresh, it was the first time I ever had fresh, fried mushrooms and they were delicious. Your sign suggested that you can make your own combo. I had fried oysters and shellcakes. I think it was the first time someone had ever ordered this special combo because they had to find out how to cost it. Maybe. I paid a little extra, but it was worth it. The oysters were fresh and the shellcakes broke away everything I ever had from Rode Island. They were crispy and well fed and you can see the shells. The rings were hand-baked and made perfect. Nothing tasted oily and when I was finished, there was nothing in the way of fat on my plate. Although the choices for my gluten-free wife were very limited, they enjoyed the black fish salad on the first day and the rosemary and garlic chicken salad on the second day. There are advantages of eating on a shackle a brick and mortar facility. Above all, we were able to let our dog sit with us on the umbrella, covered picnic bench Verse leaving them in the car. Very glad we tried this place and I hope we can come back.
Great food. The lobster roll, fried mussels and onion rings were fantastic. The Pommes were okay. We waited for our food for about 20 minutes and was surprised that it came to room temperature. We're not sure they forgot us or what happened. Wish the food was warm / hot fresh from the frit, but we still enjoyed our meal and would recommend this place.
We were on our way into town and decided to stop for a fish sandwich. BOY OH BOY were we pleased. Fast forward a few days we made our way back to Schutty's indulged ourselves with a clam roll and scallop tacos! These dishes were perfectly cooked, generously portioned and a friendly staff to serve. Schutty's is worth the drive, time and price! We'll be back!
