I'm so glad we decided to try this new place!! From the moment you go, feel very welcome and at home! Our waiter was very friendly, young and a little shy, but very attentive. Several employees checked us during our dinner to see if we were okay or needed anything. Love that! I asked for a few articles in the menu and while the server did not know that he quickly answered my question. The house margarita is spectacular! Not like the normal irrigated houses you get elsewhere. We didn't wait long for dinner. And the food was great!! I love that they don't overload it with cheese. In fact, after a little sprinkle cheese on my Burrito (and fortunately they had to do with the right amount) The meat was super delicious, great portion. The Spanish rice is AMAZING! I would just go back for it!! I dare to say that no one in this city serves it so (or at least not that I have found). The Fajitas were pretty good, although the steak was a little overcooked and tasteless for us. But I'm sure this can be fixed when asked. And again... I love that they did not make the usual mistake of serving it with crushed chedder (or another inappropriate) cheese. there are so many other options that I would like to try on their menu. I could see how the other dishes are served and am concerned to try them too! This is definitely NOT the standard Tex-Mex, definitely authentic mexican. I asked for another margarita when we got the check. Our server asked if I wanted it to go and saw we eat it. I always forget where I moved and this is an option! What was my answer? It was quickly brought to enjoy all sealed and ready for me at home! This place has increased the bar to Mexican cuisine in Baton Rouge! You do it right! From impeccable service to stellar food! This Texas girl is very grateful for her efforts to bring great food to us
This was a place we stopped by on our way to florida. Great service and food! Would definitely stop by here again.
Oh lord, the margaritas are huge! But the alcohol content is ok, so If you have to go back to work you can order the medium one. I got the fajita bowl and the meat was good, but it was too oily; my friend got the enchiladas di mole and they were amazing.
The $10 margarita, not shown, was excellent, and in my top 3 for decisions in Baton Rouge. The Queso was smooth and tasted as if it was made from scratches. The Ceviche had no fishy taste and was served with fresh vegetables, in a beautiful marinade.
The atmosphere is great and brand new. The server was respectful and educational and the manager was very present. Our whole experience lasted about 45 minutes, so fast! Salsa is a good and fresh tasting. I have the California Burrito. It was very good for the price. I would certainly recommend a visit. They are reopened, so we went on a Saturday night and the head count was very small for such a premiere night. I think they deserve to have a line out of the door! The chairs are also comfortable!
