I had to order their attention to drinks, order food, bring them more intensively and our review lasted forever. the live band was good, but much too loud for the place, he sounded like he screamed into the microphone, so we could hardly be able to converse at the table. that was delicious.
Overall a good experience, but it is very loud. my man and I went on Saturday night at 19 o'clock for date night. it was busy and loud when we came in for our reservation. they ran back and we had to go about. 10 minutes waiting for our table. we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. the bar staff was great. we finally sat. we ordered the pretzels and rice balls. both were fantastic. then, as we ordered the dinner live music began. the musicians were very good, but loud. I have problems without listening to music. after the music I did not begin to hear so our conversation was quite over. for dinner I ordered the short rib ragu. it was delicious. my man ordered the files. the steak was good, but his kartoffel and spinat were cold. we went shortly after that, because I couldn't hear. overall good experience, but we will probably go back in the week, so we can avoid the amount and noise.
The cocktails were amazing and the live band was fantastic! We will definitely be back!
Had to alter my reservation not a problem. Great service good food and reasonable prices. Met the owner helping out at each table and getting to know his customers. Oh and PS live entertainment at 8:00 PM at least when we were there on Saturday night.
We came back to Corks and Taps to celebrate the birthday of a really close friend. The restaurant was quiet with only a few tables occupied and a couple of guests at the bar. Unusual for Corks and Taps but it was early evening on a weeknight in July. As always, the service was outstanding. Attentive but not obtrusive. We’ve been here enough times now that the staff recognizes us and made us feel welcome. My wife and our friend both had the flounder special. I had the seared tuna plate and we shared the crispy Brussels Sprouts. The food was prepared perfectly and was presented really nicely. The quality was excellent… as expected. We passed on dessert and the total check was really reasonable. My wife had a cocktail and while I did not have a beer, the selection on tap is eclectic and always good. If you want an excellent meal at a reasonable price, give Corks and Taps a visit. We’ll be back soon!
