Ideally placed at the foot of the cathedral. offers a Norman menu in-plat-dessert to 25€, like most restaurants in the city. the proposed kitchen is banal and without flavor, uncontrolled cooking. the decoration is neutral, the fast service.
Looking for a place for Sunday lunch in bayeux, we found the hanger and it was absolutely perfect. the small restaurant filled quickly and was busy, we guessed it, families and local couples. the service was friendly and efficient. the menu had something for all of us - 2 children, a vegetarian and a carnivore, with a surprisingly wide range of choices and menus. homemade hamburgers for children have been a success, the delicious velvet as well as the menu with eggplant gratin and beef beef beorgenone. We'd have fun to eat.
We ate Saturday night. we were very early but were warmly welcomed. applications were very good. Smoked salmon was excellent. Tasteed like not super salted salmon as I have already done. dh liked its application of seafood. We both had scallops. soft and tender. Good vegetable. We both had apple pie for dessert. the crust under the apples has unfortunately become debrised but the end was crispy and leafy. The ice with the pie was tasty. the wine of the house was of an excellent value for money and also tasty.
We enjoyed a great meal here. charming and friendly staff and excellent food. There wasn't a lot of people in the evening we had dinner here, but when we spent the other nights, it was full to spit.
