Came to Charlottetown for a family trip and wanted to find a place to take picks and see the Confeferarion Bridge. THIS IS THE PLACE!! The trails are maintained really well and the restaurant has great homemade food and reasonably priced. We had: The Lobster...More
Great place to visit and a wonderful place to take a field trip with school children. All ages would enjoy this experience as it has something foe everyone. There is an interpretive center with displays and artifacts, a gift shop, facilities, and visitor center on the site. There are guided adventures that last from one to three hours. There is a 12 km trail system. There is an art exhibit as well and an exhibit hall that has the tale of 2 islands. Nicely done!
We stopped here by accident for a photo op of Confederation Bridge. The lady working in the shop was very informative. Bought a cute little snowman pin here - nice souvenir to remember our stop. Restrooms are eco-friendly - a bit weird.
Had a tasty lobster roll and clam chowder for lunch. Lobster was succulent and came with potato salad. The potato salad was better than some of the potato salad we had in PEI. Clam Chowder was equally creamy and generous with clams. Would highly recommend checking out this place. It feels so rewarding to have delicious food after a long drive.
