As with all Asians, however, one has to bring patience if one wants another drink. Everything in Allem highly recommended.
The finished food was average. The Mongolian buffet had to wait for quite a long time, but it was fine. The operation was absolutely inadequate. The beverages were supplied incorrectly, not at all, or with considerable delay (up to one hour). The buffet was removed an hour before the official end of the buffet (22 o'clock). If you had drunk his drink, you weren't asked if you wanted to drink. Over an hour I sat there without drink and without attention by the service. An absolute wickedness!
The restaurant is located in Bayreuth in the Wolfsbach district, approx. 5km from the city centre, very close to the Bayreuth South motorway exit. It is not easy to reach by public transport (below the week buses drive in hour, on weekends sometimes less than in the 2-hour clock). There is a cycle path to the city of Bayreuth. Parking is sufficient (if parking is full, there is no room in the restaurant). The restaurant has open for weeks only in the evening (Monday rest day), on Sundays and holidays is also open at lunchtime. The selection at the standard buffet is average, besides the well-known warm dishes, there is an excellent clear Asian chicken soup. Salads and sushi are also present, as dessert there are also baked bananas and apples besides fruit salads and ice cream. The Mongolian buffet is very extensive, there are many sauces to choose from, many different types of meat and fish and vegetables. The food is very well prepared, it is very tasty. For the price of (Nov. 2015) 12.80 Euro for the evening buffet with Mongolian grill you get an exceptionally good counter value. We usually go with guests.
The golden star rises into the Mongolian buffets, of which there are apparently more than normal China restaurants. There is nothing to blame for the star. The finished dishes are delicious (even if the duck is always very fast and only hesitantly refilled), the Live Cocking has a decent selection and there are also acceptable sushi. However, in all areas, the star does not exceed the standard (while it still underbids it in the area of dessert 5 varieties of ice and baked bananas). However, the price is adapted to this and is favorable with less than 15 euros. I like to go with great hunger, but since the Mongolian buffets shoot like mushrooms from the ground, the star, which is still quite off the shot, is nothing more special. Nevertheless, it is usually very full, which leads to longer waiting times.
Fine Chinese/Mongolic restaurant with Mongolian buffet. Large selection and friendly staff. Absolutely recommended.
