She was very personable, friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable of both the drink and food menus. The restaurant was quite busy and our food took longer than expected, but Katie was very attentive, our beverages were never left empty, and she made sure we were comfortable and satisfied throughout the night. I'll be coming back just to see Katie!
Good service and fun, casual ambiance. The menu misses a lot and they don 't do the basics well (wings, nachos, etc. in my opinion. The beer cheese is basically liquid cheese poured onto some chips for nachos. I usually avoid it for dinner but ok for a drink with friends.
First time “dining” at the 1750 Taphouse…and last time. Waited 30 minutes for table, hostess sat us and waited another 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by waiter. It was busy, so ok…Tried to view beer list using QR code…oops..link is broken. We asked the waiter for a physical list we could view…oops, they don’t have one. He didn’t know all the beers available. So…a “Taphouse” with no way to let you know what’s on tap. Ordered 2 IPA’s from a local brewery…but he didn’t know which one. Hey…always up to try a local mystery brew! Ordered fried pickle app and sipped a decent beer…things were looking up! Before app arrived, placed entree order. Hamburger, medium please, for the hubby, Caesar salad for me. 10 minutes later …the hostess served the entrees…pretty sure I heard the burger mooing. I told her we were waiting for our app, as the waiter came up behind her with pickles in hand. She offered to hold the entrees in the kitchen ….uhm, no, just serve it all now. Medium burger was rare, Caesar salad was ok. Such a disappointing waste of a Friday night.
Food is great people are cool; been here a few times; the only thing I find a little bit unreasonable is the price of small stuff... like a cup of chowder or onion rings (6$ ...; when you review the bill and see this, it 's just like what!??? .... the only other thing is: the word chowder is supposed to have a thicker (heartier appearance; this is yet another restaurant that makes it more like soup... I 'm always surprised by this in New England towns...June 3rd evening; I take my son because he loves the burgers; we normally get the same waitress who 's fantastic; we got an ice cream dessert tonight that was $14; because it serves 2-4 ppl; let me assure you: IT SERVES AT MOST, TWO PEOPLE... maybe worth 8-10$ at the most...gnite
