Now, the new staff barely understand basic ice cream market terms (like toppings , which isn 't some made-em-up word, but a KNOWN term for anything that goes on icecream, used for DECADES! They kept thinking I said chocolate ! along with a tenuous grasp on English, they are ALSO incredibly incompetent, and don 't listen to simple orders (unless it 's coffee, apparently . Afrim, as nice as she is, is perhaps the worst one: She 's slow-witted, forgetful (she constantly got my orders wrong , and barely knows typical ice cream lingo (like toppings . I am NEVER coming back to this Baskin-Robins EVER AGAIN, until they can hire somebody... better!
Whenever I go to this location I order a medium hot chocolate, 9/10 times I receive some random drink order or watered down hot chocolate powder. Disgusting and embarrassing that this has been happening for years now and I'm officially going to Starbucks from now on.
I love ice cream and ice cream cake so I 've been to many Baskin Robbins through the years, but I 've never been to a BR where I have been taken aback by how great the customer service was. I came here recently for my free birthday scoop. The girl who helped me was super nice. She let me try a few flavors and when I couldn 't decide, she offered to do half and half for me. She packed the ice cream nicely with a lid in a paper bag so I wasn 't forced to rush through eating it as it melted. Then she wished me a good night and a happy birthday. My husband was waiting for me outside in the car and as soon as I climbed in I exclaimed, wow, she was so nice! What an amazingly pleasant experience! This will be my go-to BR in Long Island!
The girl at night had her friends at the drive thru and refused to serve. The other guy with her said nothing.
