The food was medium low quality for the price. The view and service were excellent.

We are always thrilled for Christmas brunch in the van Loon ship and every time. Our whole family, including several vegetarians, like to go there. It's something for every taste. The cozy atmosphere and the water position are unique. Also the service is excellent, very friendly, always good-yellow, fast and discreet (dirty dishes are immediately removed). Also recommended for a cozy afternoon coffee or for a romantic meeting. The waffles and delicious hot drinks (hot apple juice with apple slices) are the hit.

I have known the van Loon since the opening in the 90, and I appreciate the consistent quality of food. Last weekend (Saturday) the Brunchbuffet was a pure fall. Everything was nicely arranged, but the selection left very much to wish. for example, no hot dishes (so Brunch was not) no eggs, no eggs. The salmon were on a fish plate in 2 small pieces, otherwise dominated rolling mops and smoked fish, more suitable for a New Year's cold breakfast. The cheese selection was also very modest, Harzer and 0815 Camenbert. Everything was more like an optically splashed cheap feed over. Unfortunately, the birthday breakfast was not the expected highlite.

We were on the Van Loon ship for our birthday dinner. Immediately at the beginning, the atmosphere was positive. Very cozy furnished with fireplace. Pure atmosphere. Can we recommend, as the service is just great!

Great location, friendly service, the Risotto was great, wine ok.
