Arashi Yama Sushi Hibachi Lounge

Excellent atmosphere and service, but the food was inconsistent and not nearly as good as I was expecting. Both the soup and the teriyaki chicken were surprisingly bland and flavorless. The chicken was neither sweet nor salty, just... plain. The pork dumplings, on the other hand, were excellent. With so many great sushi restaurants in Gainesville (2 within 100 yards of this place! , I don't think I'll be back.

The food was amazing! The Sake flight was worth it to try their different ones. Each roll of sushi had amazing flavor! The steamed vegetable gyoza was excellent. Ambiance was very relaxed, a great place to visit with friends or have a more romantic night out. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful.

Our server was funny and knowledgeable, the food and drinks were awesome, and the atmosphere was so cool with the lighting. It tasted like they used real shiitake mushrooms in the hibachi, which was a welcome taste in a place where good Japanese-esque food is hard to find!

Very nice restaurant. The service was great. The food was amazing! I would definitely go again. We ordered hibachi and was not disappointed. Not a long wait on food or anything.

Awesome food and atmosphere, Kenny is a amazing SERVER there super friendly and on top of it, makes you feel like family very happy to get put in his section. Highly recommend this location always satisfying.
