Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have eaten at this establishment (Stinky Fat Boys) three times. I cannot attest to their pizza, however, I have had their Mexican food and American food. The last time we went, we were with friends. I was told that their food was made fresh daily and the recipes are the owner 's . My family has been in the restaurant and deli business longer than I have been alive. I worked side by side with my parents and grand-parents. I am no stranger to the real life in the restaurant world. A great deal of thought and consideration has been put into this review and it is with a heavy heart that I write it. The first time I visited, I ordered the tacos. The taco meat resembled some kind of a brown paste substance. It didn 't resemble or have a taste consistent with taco meat. I vowed that if I ever returned, I would not recommend the tacos to anyone. In spite of this, I was willing to give them another chance because anyone can have an off day. The second time I visited (again with friends), I ordered the enchilada dinner, which consisted of 2 enchiladas (my choice), refried beans and rice. I selected chicken and cheese. The server asked my sauce preference and I asked what she recommended. She suggested the chili sauce on the chicken and the sour cream sauce on the cheese. I agreed. When I received my order, I could tell immediately that my order was microwaved. The presentation on my plate was extremely disappointing making the food unappealing. The rice and beans were just slopped on the plate, with the main attraction sitting in the center. I was not impressed. The rice was either over cooked or it was left-over from the day before and re-heated. It looked and tasted like a sticky mess. The beans and the rice both lacked seasoning. For both of these sides, a few spices are a must; and any mediocre cook knows that a little salt (even if only added to the water during the cooking process) will go a long way. I took a bite of the chicken enchilada and the chili sauce on top DID NOT belong with the chicken. It did not pair together at all. The chili sauce might pass on a hot dog or a hamburger but not anywhere near Mexican food. I hope it wasn 't one of the owner 's recipes . The sour cream sauce was good but not the cheese enchilada it was smothering. When the cheese started to cool, it was difficult to cut into as it had turned into a rubber cheese tube. The tortilla was not edible an inch on each end. That was the dead giveaway that it had been microwaved. My third and final visit, this time with family, was a few days ago. I lost my nerve to order anymore Mexican food as it was horrible both times. I thought I would play it safe and order a cheeseburger and onion rings. I asked for some ketchup and mustard on my burger with all the trimmings. When I got my burger, they forgot the cheese. I said nothing. It 's my preference but not earth shattering. The bun was cold to the touch. The burger patty did not fit the bun either. Because the bun wasn 't grilled on the flat top, any condiments added to the bun would turn it into a wet mess. That was exactly what I got. The bun started to fall away before I could take my third bite. The onions rings weren 't battered. If they were, the onions weren 't dredged in flour before dipping in the batter. The wad of onions were just dropped into the fryer because when they came out, the onion rings were a blob of onion mess. All I tasted was unseasoned flour with onions mixed in. If he was going for the blooming onion treat, it was an epic fail! I have told several of my friends and family members of my experiences after this third meal failure and the one conclusion we have all come to is that we will never return to this restaurant again. I have heard that someone over there makes a good pizza but I will never know. I would rather drive to Gladewater than to try them again.
This place is awesome!!! Food is OUTSTANDING !! It's now called Stinky Fat Boys. The owner is hilarious and interacts with the customers.
I ate there twice. Both times I ordered a large pizza to go. When I got home it looked too small to be a large, so I took out my tape measure and measured them. Both times they had given me a medium pizza for the price of a large. I called them and told them, but they did not care. So I have never been back. They are not getting anymore of my money.
High quality and quantity of food. Make sure you have the dollar amount you want to pay on hand. This is some of the best Italian I have had in Longview for a while. Did I mention they deliver.
Great lasagna with a little twist!
