Samurai - Billings

This restaurant was fantastic! We had a wonderful hibachi grill experience. Our chef, Max, put on an amazing show while preparing our food, which was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp, while I went with the filet mignon. I highly recommend it! We will definitely return!

I can only say that the soup was decent but not impressive. I ordered pot stickers, and what I got were five tiny ones—about half the size of any pot sticker I've ever had. I really should have taken a picture. It was a total letdown, especially for $9, which felt like a steep price for such a small portion. It’s definitely not worth it, especially if you're sharing with someone else. The spring rolls were similarly disappointing; we received just two tiny ones for the same overpriced $9. Overall, the price did not match the quality or quantity. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place, as I won't be returning.

I'm on a road trip through Montana, and after a long day of driving, I've been really wanting either ramen or pho. I decided to get takeout and ordered some seafood pho along with a few sushi rolls. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the pho was absolutely delicious. My craving has definitely been satisfied!

I had noticed this small restaurant for quite some time before finally deciding to try it, and I'm really glad we did because it was fantastic! The venue is a bit cozy, but they definitely compensate for that with their delicious hibachi and pho!

I've dined at countless restaurants in Billings, MT, and I can honestly say that I crave the rare beef pho with vegetables three times a week. The broth at Samurai is, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. Kalvin and his team have truly made Samurai the best pho spot in the state, in my opinion. If you haven't tried Kalvin's pho yet, stop what you're doing and head over there! They open at 11, and the atmosphere, along with the customer service and food, is exceptional.
