I don't know if someone complained but last time I went there was no music. That may well be down to that or simply that it was DJ cashier's day off. The food is the same as any KFC in uk, it's gone downhill and this restaurant can't be blamed for that, they literally just heat the food up. KFC chicken does not taste the same like it did 20 years ago. The pieces are smaller and the price is higher, always a NO NO. The chips are quickly becoming legendary by how poor they are, why change from the McDonald's type ones, there was no problem? One has to wonder if this is to save money somehow. Anyway this shop has staff in it anyone with an IQ bigger than 50 would want to avoid, and they are cooking your food, oh God!
This restaurant review is negative. I ordered from their app and had a bad experience. The food was missing items twice, was cold, and was packed poorly into a small box. When I complained about the missing items, the restaurant said it was not their responsibility and I had to contact Deliveroo. When I reached out to Deliveroo, they asked for a photo of the missing items and the receipt, which was not included in the order. Without this information, they were unable to help me.
During my recent visit, I noticed that the tables were dirty. When I brought it up, I was told that they would be cleaned when there was a chance. Unfortunately, cleanliness standards in the dining area were lacking. However, the food was satisfactory.
I requested some paper napkins and wet wipe towelettes to be included with my Just Eat delivery order from Wallasey KFC, but unfortunately, the staff did not fulfill this simple request. It seems that the employees at this branch are incompetent and illiterate. Despite being hungry, I will not be ordering from here again. I would rather go hungry or gnaw my own foot off than deal with their lack of professionalism.
My food was ordered to be delivered by Uber-eats. When it did not arrive, I rang to make enquiries. Basically, I was told that it wasn’t their responsibility and that I should complain on the Uber-eats app. When I did so, Uber-eats point bank refused a refund. So, I paid for food that I didn’t receive and went to bed hungry. Thanks KFC.
