I knew I was in the right place as soon as I saw the sign for Mama J's. I have been eating here for years whenever I'm in the city, and their variety of subs, pizza, Chinese food, and more never disappoints. You place your order at the counter, and a friendly server brings it to your table. I have never had a bad meal here. I tried the sautéed pork meat with vegetables over rice, along with 2 egg rolls and ice cream. The portions were generous, and I had enough for another meal. I will definitely be coming back here again.

The restaurant seems to have a lot of unsanitary practices, which is concerning. I have been dealing with health issues and this place has not helped at all. Overall, I have had a terrible experience and do not plan on returning.

Additionally, I ate 10 dishes, but I was not comfortable with kids around my food as it did not seem sanitary. I have been battling lung cancer for the past two years, and I feel that this place did not help me in my recovery. I have also experienced multiple health issues and will need to undergo MRI and X-ray screenings. I observed the waiter rubbing his dirty fingers over my food before serving it, which was very unappetizing. The quality of the food was also disappointing. In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant. 1 star.
