I really enjoyed the Indian meal at this restaurant. I particularly loved the spinach chicken, mixed grill, Chilly paneer, and Lamb Karahi. Their butter chicken is a must-try dish! I give them top marks all around.

Avoid this place at all costs! I went with my daughter and we were greeted by unruly individuals who seemed to be regular troublemakers in the area. Not only were they allowed inside, but they were also served alcohol multiple times, despite clearly being underage. The management at this restaurant needs to be replaced immediately. I have reported this incident to the police and trading standards.

Attended today for the Sunday carvery...have to say the food was very good....the homemade complimentary vegetable soup was delicious....then the chef ... a very friendly young man gave us the choice of four meats...turkey, beef, pork and gammon...I chose the beef and turkey which I...then had lots of veg, cauliflower cheese..carrots..green beans..cabbage..broccoli...all cooked very well...then you get offered roast and new potatoes...Yorkie pud and stuffing...parsnips...liver and onions...gravy...all cooked very well...great achievement chef..... The atmosphere was friendly...the bar staff were helpful...the room was very clean and well organised....will defo be going back...today wasn’t overly busy due to terrible weather...but have heard that usually it is safer to book a table in advance...defo worth a visit...enjoy all. The pub is charming and the food is delicious, but the only drawback is that if you sit in the bar area, you may have to endure the sound of children upstairs being noisy and disruptive. It can become annoying after a while, so we decided to leave.

Another great meal, lovely staff, landlady is very friendly. Great steaks and salads. Great guest beers for the hubby. Brilliant value for money. What’s not to like. Thank you all
