I first visited Sake House at their location in Salem. When they moved to Blacksburg I was so happy! The family own spot has some wonderful dishes that honestly just make my happy to sit down and eat. If you are a fan of sushi definitely give it a go. If you're not, try the bento box lunches. The Chicken Katsu box is my favorite (pretty much bbq friend chicken).Love the food and especially the wonderful family that runs it!!!

I believe Sake House is probably the best sushi you can get in Blacksburg, but still not as good as some places back home so that's why there is 1 star deduction. I went once pre-COVID for $1 sushi, and no surprise, you were mostly paying for rice and little fish. But, I've started ordering off of their lunch menu (available M-F over lunch time), and I've found it to be very reasonable! Satisfies my craving, and the staff is also very nice.
