Glyncoed Fish Shop - Blaenau Gwent

Glyncoed Fish Bar is No longer runned by the original owners. Dont go there its shut by boarder control. We sold it 2019 ....

I recently purchased chips and a fruity curry from this restaurant. However, when I got home and opened my meal, I was disappointed to find that the curry was not fruity at all; it was watered down to the point where it had no taste. Additionally, the chips were stale and inedible. I'm not sure how long they had been sitting around for, but they were definitely not fresh. I ended up throwing the food away and would not recommend it to anyone. I will not be returning to this restaurant and suggest that others avoid it as well.

Every time we come to visit my girlfriends family en Ebbw Vale we always call to this chip shop. Chips are tasty and crispy and fluffy. What more can you ask for. Top notch chippy

The food at this restaurant is always fabulous, especially the chips which are delicious. The dishes are always cooked fresh for you, and the staff are friendly.

Unfortunately, my father passed away two years ago, but Glyncoed was his favorite place for fish and chips. Thank you, Amie, and your partner.
