Onion rings were a huge plate and very tasty. The steaks were fantastic. The atmosphere was old school steakhouse like from the 70's. Dark interior with wood paneling. Reminded me of the restaurants my parents took me to when I was growing up. The look might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it. I would definitely go back just for the steak.
Great place to go with friends. Not a bar food place as they have a surprising menu.
Great food in an older establishment but neat to read some of the history on the walls
Went to dinner with my boyfriend and his family on a Friday night. We made a reservation for 6:30 and were seated right away. All of the servers were very friendly. The salads were literally bag lettuce and cheese, we were given styrofoam plates for our appetizers, our water was served in nice crystal glasses but my boyfriend got an iced tea and it was served in a red solo cup. We waited an hour and a half from the time we finished our salads to when we were served our meals. We all ordered steaks and none of them were cooked to our preference. We didn’t send them back because we didn’t want to wait any longer. We have tried this place a few times, each time not being pleasing. Sadly we will not be back.
I know I’ve bragged on this place before but it does not get any better than this. Tonight the food was outstanding again! Ribeye cooked perfectly, potato choice was hashbrowns…. extra crispy. Comes with salad and rolls. Service was top notch! Wine…well it’s not served by a sommelier but it was fine. I know there are steakhouses in Omaha that I absolutely love, but I don’t think any of them cook their steaks like this place. And you need to look at the receipt and the price point and I think you will be amazed at the value. Depending on where you live, it’s only a 20 minute drive north. Limited hours tho so look.
