After we had time to look at the geyser, we went to this restaurant. we will come later (2:30 o'clock) than our usual lunchtime. there were fewer people, but there was a lot of choice. I chose the soup section because he was cool out. when I was hired, a chef brought a new series of fish soup! I had to order one, and my intuition was right!. it was warm and full of fish! my friend ordered the same, and she was very happy with what she ordered. I would recommend this suppe for people who wish a good hearty meal. If I had more time, I would order extra bread. also this is a cafeteria style, so they would get what they want and go to the cash. Unfortunately, we need to order harness like fish and chips at this time, so additional time is needed to finish the plate.
Really nice place for a quick lunch, I was shocked how beautiful it was as a tourist hotspot. The food was fresh and there was a lot of choice. We had the traditional Icelandic meat soup and tomato soup. They were both beautiful and beautiful things to try, seen as they are Icelandic classics. They also make beautiful coffee and cakes/muffins. In any case, would recommend.
Good eating, although it can be very busy and almost like a rugby hull if they have never been and do not know how the different food areas work and filter on the floors. it is like a freer for all, but it was very busy when we visited and fought for a seat.
OK when I went it was super crowded, but the wait was worth it. The fish soup was the best meal I had on this trip. I also had the spicy chicken sandwich, my travel mate got the meat soup. You get a refill on any of your soup, I got mine in a take away container.
