One of the last remaining Mongolian bbq places left and I hope it stays forever! good selection, the sesame bags are so authentic, and the owners are really nice hardworking people. the decoration reminds me of my childhood, but that's okay. I'd rather concentrate on making the good food?
Eating is delicious, but they can't go their rest. does not work if it had weight loss operation. I was full after the suppe and the woman was very upset when I asked to take her.
I thought to stop here on a whim as we were in, Nyack. It had been years since I'd eaten here and I thought it a change of pace. However, the place was depressing and outdated. There was a party of 3/4 preparing to leave when we arrived. They looked ready to close, even though we'd called ahead to confirm dinner before arriving shortly after 730p. Closing time was 9pThe pre-dinner courses offered were room temperature Luke warm. The shrimp, salad, pork dumplings, and sesame buns were hurriedly brought out.My seafood soup was cold and gelatinous and tasted nothing of seafood! The BBQ station wasn't very appealing and the food lacked flavor and color despite the addition of condiments and ingredients meant to enhance the flavor.Never again!
I used to go to this place all of the time as a kid. I just moved back to the area, and everything tastes exactly how I remembered. This food is top notch. You get shrimp cocktail, dumplings, salad and all you can eat noodle bowls for under $30. Even a scoop of ice cream at the end. The owner is the best, he was so charismatic he brought us over shots of tequila to end the meal. The atmosphere was so fun. Also, I could eat the sesame pocket bread every day for the rest of my life!!! No place like it.
