Blaxland Tavern Bistro

We absolutely love the QuizXpress Game Show, and we may be a little biased, but when you add the new menu offerings and excellent hospitality into the mix, there's no excuse not to come down and experience it for yourself. The QuizXpress Game Show takes place every Tuesday at 7pm.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. Kym and Chloe provided excellent service! My large group of 12 had a wonderful time. The meals were exceptional; fresh and tasty. Although there was a bit of a wait, it was worth it. I would definitely return!

I would give this restaurant a definite 5-star rating. The burgers here are huge, tasty, and made with fresh ingredients. I dare you to try and finish a whole burger in one sitting. The staff is lovely, friendly, and very attentive to customer needs, even willing to accommodate custom changes to our order. The ambiance is perfect for dining with family and friends.

The service was great. the food tasted really good and is good for large portions. we have also seen a good weekly specials and a senior menu.

On Friday night there. we were the only people who were not four drunks at the bar. the it area has a concrete floor and is otherwise like a desert. the bistro consists of a small window in the bar with a person. behind the bar. he is the owner, the cook, the waiter and the kitchen hand. the menu on the table does not reflect the currently available menu. we ordered food and after more than half an hour or more later we received our meal. I ordered a medium-sized, rare scotchfilet, which was cooked on places rarely and put on others raw. the accompanying pfeffer sauce was cold and tasted nothing like any pfeffer sauce I ever had. hard to say what it was. the other meal was of similar calf. we went to this place because it published a series of good reviews, but I can tell them that it is all hype and not substance. don't waste your time and your money into this bistro. trust me.
