Anthony's - Blue Summit

I loved my recent visits to Anthony’s. I road-tripped through KC twice in the last two weeks. I stopped for lunch on my first visit. I liked the old school decor and dim lighting. Their eggplant parm sandwich hit the spot as well as their Italian margarita. The service was good. I knew I’d be coming back through, so I made plans to come back for dinner. My second visit was great! Attentive service at the bar and it was Wine Wednesday with $20 select bottles. I ordered the lasagna and it was delicious. Reminded me of some of the family Italian restaurants I grew up with in Detroit. Hope to come back someday.

My wife took me out for a spur of the moment dinner. She had looked at this place online prior to our arrival and had an idea of what she wanted. My go to everytime I try a new Italian restaurant is lasagna. I ordered lasagna with sausage. The sauce was great. The portion size was perfect with a nice creamy ricotta blend inside the pasta noodles. I have to come back to try another dish.

The service and food at this authentic Italian restaurant are simply the best.
