Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónAfter having several good Italian meals on our trip, I was looking forward to sampling some Austrian food when we arrived in Bolzano. This restaurant fit the bill. We both had the Goulash soup, followed by Weiner Schnitzel. Excellent food and good service at a good price. Nice place to each when in the area.
This place reminded me of the family friendly Italian American restaurants I grew up with not in terms of the items on the menu, but in terms of the ambiance and style of food. This felt like a German version of that style of restaurant. Portions were large and the meals were heavy. My husband ordered a plate that came with several types of pork, potatoes, sauerkraut, and one of the traditional dumplings. I had the mezzelune stuffed with cheese which reminded me of a cross between pierogi and ravioli.
The restaurant is always bustling with locals at noon, which enables you to gauge the excellent cuisine quite accurately. The restaurant is down to earth, their daily specials are straightforward and not too fancy, but very good and not pricey at all.
We ate in this lovely rustic place in front of the museum of natural sciences. despite the tail, we were served immediately and the quality of the food was excellent. We were undecided about what to eat, but caneders and spretzles did so as masters. delicious food, very kind and friendly waiters. absolutely recommended. very abundant portions that have certainly spoiled us. clean and local bathroom as clean. a place where you can eat a great food at a great price.
One of the best restaurants in Bolzano. is located in the center of the city. average prices, large portions, very kind staff! absolutely recommended to visit!
