Gasthaus Nolden - Bonn

Had lunch here with a group of colleagues, it was quite late and the waiters quite evidently were very eager to leave, and they were really very unfriendly. Which, on the other hand, made for a very quick service. Food was good (I had red perch with potatoes and broccoli) and beer was good as well. Reasonably priced.

If you've never been to a typical German Rhineland area restaurant - this may be the one. I'd describe it as a "classical schnitzel restaurant". Quality of the food is good average (and average does mean perfectly fine, simply not unusually good or totally outstanding), and so are the prices. I don't find the staff particularly friendly which adds to the "authentic" experience. The Nolden is almost exclusively frequented by locals, most of the from Endenich where the restaurant is located. You may want to give it a try when you are planning to watch a movie at the "Rex" (most beautiful cinema in the whole region) or see a rock concert at the "Harmonie" which are just arounbd the corner. Special featur of the Nolden are the Kegel lanes in the basement (German kind of bowling sports) which you pay by the hour.

Wir haben im Gasthaus Nolden mit etwas über 20 Personen die Taufe unserer Tochter gefeiert. Das Essen war wie immer äußerst lecker und perfekt zubereitet, mit viel Geschick. Qualität und Geschmack haben absolut gestimmt, und unsere Gäste sowie wir waren durchweg begeistert. Der Service war sehr freundlich, flink und professionell, und die Absprachen im Vorfeld waren klar und unkompliziert. Wir saßen im hinteren Teil des Restaurants in einem etwas abgetrennten Bereich, der sehr festlich gedeckt und dekoriert war. Es war eine perfekte Feier, wie man sie sich wünscht – volle Punktzahl und höchste Zufriedenheit. Vielen Dank!

Eine seit mehreren Generationen bestehende Traditionsgaststätte mit gut bürgerlichem Flair. Vorwiegend sehr gute deutsche Küche, sorgfältig ausgewählte Getränke und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Ein Gasthaus, in dem man hervorragend essen kann, aber auch einfach zusammenkommen und gemütlich bei Getränken jeder Art beisammensitzen kann.

Gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit klassischer deutscher Küche.
