Silver Star Smokehouse - Bossier City

The food was amazing it was very busy but still had an amazing experiance.

Silver Star was impressive. First time eating there and we will be back for sure. It is right off the interstate on the east side of Bossier so it's actually a good choice if you are just passing through. It was really busy because of the Independence Bowl and LSUS graduation I believe, so the service was probably a bit slower than normal due to so many large parties there, but our server was very friendly and was on top of drink refills with no request needed. No complaints about service. The food was excellent. Armadillo bites were good as an appetizer and the smoked sausage plate I ordered was great. Highly recommend it and definitely will be back to try some of their other items!

The burger was delicious but what was the orange string inside it for?

We had lunch here on Tuesday. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was rather empty at lunchtime. Our server was friendly and the food was excellent. The restaurant was very cold. My husband and I rushed through our dining experience so we could get out of there.

Great food and service. Loved the environment too. Fantastic pulled pork.
