The correct English kitchen serves many delicious steamed puddings and custards. The decor is a bit basic, but that isn't important when your plate is piled high for only £12.50. Highly recommended.

Lovely roast this was the small serving also comes in regular and large. Choice of give different meats and veggy option.

Everything apart from the WiFi/mobile signal works well here.. Money well spent on the garden area sadly due to pandemic, but will see this place used more I’m sure. Good to see one of the city’s oldest pubs still in use. Did I mention the food? Yup, it’s all good and very freshly prepared. Wide range of drinks available too all served up in a friendly local atmosphere.
