Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and I can't wait to try more of the menu. Ate an early dinner at 5:15pm, but by 6:30pm both sides of the restaurant were filling up plenty of patrons. For apps, ordered the spicy edamame $6), truffle fries $9) and tamarind lollipop wings $19). Spicy edamame were perfectly cooked and had a little kick with a great garlicky taste. Loved thetruffle fries, portion size was huge and you could definitely taste the truffle. I liked how they were well done, and also loved the aioli that came on the wide. The wings were pretty good, if not maybe borderline too salty I wasexpecting the tamarind flavor to be more sweet but all I could taste was the fish sauce i.e. reminded me of canh ga chien nuoc mam). Came with 8 wings, and took most of them home to eat with rice for dinner. It was really cool that theyhave a reusable fabric bag for takeout! For the mains, we both got the steak pho $26). Now this won't be your typical hole in the wall pho bowl, so set your expectations as so. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the presentation of having itcome in a hot bowl and adding dipping the tai steak which was super tender). Came with all the garnishes. I'm not sure how they can improve this, but having the pho noodles precooked and just in a bowl meant a large lump of noodles thatyou had to break apart in the broth. I definitely understand why it wasn't pre added though, because then it would just overcook in the hot broth. Broth could be a little more flavorful, but I still enjoyed it with the aromatics and couldtell it wasn't just an MSG bomb. One gripe about having the pho was that they gave us the disposable bamboo chopsticks to use. Like nothing else on the table is disposable, but the splintery chopsticks was definitely tacky. I also reallydidn't like the meatballs in the pho they were too spongy and soft. Lastly, asked for black pepper and
We had a great night here. Fun and delicious food, variety of interesting drinks (and a special on a wine flight plus an order of wings, which we got! , cool vibe. Judy was a great server! Will definitely be back.
We came here on a quiet Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday and we?re so glad we did! The service was lovely, the ambience was relaxing and bright, and wow, the food was spectacular. The menu is true fusion! We ordered many appetizers, including the kimchi loaded fries, eggplant, popcorn tofu, marinated tofu, and corn ribs, and every single one of the dishes was delicious and so creative on both flavor and presentation. We?ll be coming back very soon to trysome more items off the menu. You definitely want to check out this new spot. Oh and the cocktails were solid too!
Eating was good, but originally they overtaked the steak tips. they took them back and made them new, the desserts were nothing like in the picture when we asked for flan, it was broken instead of a piece that was pictured sorbet in an pineapple hok and we got it in an orange cough as just from costco ordered a chocolate cake and got vanilla (grams she the cake was free because it was a birthday
The food was disgusting period. It shouldn’t be called Lychee Bistro, it should be called Lemons because every dish had the same microwave lemon taste.
