The Vine Inn - Braintree

The restaurant has changed ownership and management. Previously, it had an outstanding wine selection and creative dishes. Now, it feels like just an average pub.

We have dined here many times in the past and enjoyed excellent food. However, this pub has recently changed ownership and has unfortunately declined in several areas. I’m quite disappointed with the changes. Unless they address these issues, I can't see it lasting much longer.

The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, but our table was reserved in a great location. The meet and greet was pleasant, and the service was prompt without being overbearing. The food, including burgers, sea bass, and chicken, was all excellent. The drinks were good, and the desserts were outstanding. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely visit again soon. Parking was easy, and the restrooms were fine.

Lovely lunch on Sunday at the vine ,food was very good large portions,food was very hot and tasty ,the desserts were to die for ,the homemade cheesecake was a hit with one of our party ,staff were very friendly,and looked after us well ,your all doing a great job ,loving seeing the marks of Gerrard and Jacque on the vine

We were often and had excellent eating etc. this pub has recently changed the hands and the market on many species I unfortunately say. great disappointment in many contemplations. it can't take long if they don't address the problems.
