Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI’m afraid that my experience was not the excellent one I was accustomed to. The menus items were not as fresh as I recall. This is one of my favorite restaurants! This time, we had the imperial dip for an appetizer, and I had the new Signature Pasta. My date had the Atlantic Salmon. The food was delicious, and the server was fantastic!
We ordered their famous and most popular appetizer, Bang Bang Shrimp, and it was amazing. It was slightly less sweet than I remembered, since my husband has recreated the recipe at home, but I absolutely loved the savory flavor and crispiness this place offers. It had just the right amount of green onion garnish and the perfect crunch—definitely a favorite! For my main course, I chose the Mahi Mahi with shrimp, while my husband went for the Fish (Cod) and Chips. The Mahi Mahi was tender, but it lacked the flavorful punch I was expecting. It was supposed to feature a citrus marinade, but all I tasted was the charred wood from the grill, along with salt and pepper. The shrimp, however, were a good size and cooked perfectly. The side of Brussels sprouts was fabulous in Kung Pao Sauce, though it could have used some macadamia nuts. Still, it was delicious, and we really enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes as well. Unfortunately, the Fish and Chips were a big letdown. We were hoping for succulent pieces of fish with a crispy coating, but instead, it was overly greasy and lacked any crunch. The tartar sauce felt like it came from a package rather than being homemade. Maybe we just didn’t get the quality we were looking for. Despite that disappointment, we left quite full and ended up taking home the fish and chips along with the Brussels sprouts, hoping we could air fry the fish to get rid of some of the excess oil. The service was prompt and friendly, and we would definitely consider giving this place another chance—perhaps trying the lobster tail and of course, the famous Bang Bang Shrimp again!
The food was absolutely amazing! I even dreamt about that lobster after I had it—so good! The dishes arrived quickly, which was great, but I have to mention one downside. I know it was a busy day, but the service was a bit slow. It felt like I was in the Sahara Desert waiting for a glass of water. Getting the check also took quite a while, and we had a movie to catch afterward, but luckily we made it in time. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
We had a reservation, so we were seated promptly. We started with some bread served with olive oil and pesto, which was absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we tried the Bang Shrimp, which I had heard so much about, and it definitely lived up to the hype! For our main dishes, we ordered the Scallops and Shrimp Skewers, accompanied by Whipped Garlic Potatoes and Bacon Mac and Cheese. We also got the Bonefish Signature Pasta with Atlantic salmon. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the garlic potatoes were wonderfully creamy and fluffy. However, I wasn't a fan of the Cajun sauce in the pasta. Overall, the food and service were fantastic!
