Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónPossibly my fault for coming on a Saturday afternoon to a location that primarily relies on the Monday to Friday business crowd. I don't know how long they've been in business, but I thought I'd pop in after a swim workout at the Maryland Farms Y.Was so disappointed for many reasons. 1. The prices on their website which are copyrighted for 2023 are DOLLARS lower thanthe actual prices. Case in point, I got the Mediterranean Sampler w/choice of meat, website listed for $8.99. Actual price waseither $11.99 or $12.99. A good amount of food, but still. Which. 2. I asked for and got wheat pita, yay. They asked if Iwanted it warmed and I declined as I knew it would be a while before I got home. While the pita was somewhat frozen noproblem, zap it a bit it was STALE. Even the second piece, once it thawed, was still rock hard around the edges. 3. Thespanakopita was also stale. Was not flaky, could not cut with a fork. Had to shovel lift it and bite it as if it were a bigbrownie. Also a bit too salty. 4. Tabbouleh hardly any bulgar. Was there mint? Wayyy too much parsley, but that is a personalpreference. I prefer Mediterranean tabbouleh which usually has cilantro in it as well. 5. Hummus when I opened the container, the hummus was close to rock hard but didn't seem cold. Eventually it softened a bit, and as I added minced garlic and theminced garlic juice, it found a better consistency. But kind of bland to begin with. 6. Overall, everything was a little toosalty, BUT I am salt sensitive and I find American/American Greek foods tend to pour on the salt. I will say that the BabaGanoush was very good. Not awesome (see Edessa for that) but still very good. And yes, the servings were plentiful. Wish I hadknown about the price differences, but I like trying new places. So I don't totally regret my visit. I *might* try them againduring the work week for a gyro sandwich, but otherwise will likely stick to my regular spot in The Farms.
Driving to Fl. My wife and daughter got Subway. I got Kebab Gyros mixed grill platter. My wife and daughter ate half my food and exclaimed we are stopping there on way back up! No higher praise than that !!
Happy to find this nice cozy place next to the hotel in Brentwood. Enjoyed hot and savory mixed grill dish from the good people there
Great food. good prices. the hummus is excellent. the chicken was seasoned perfectly. will definitely be back.
This unassuming storefront claims to have the best gyros in town- and I agree. The brusque customer service and simple decor adds to the authenticity of this great find. The gyro sandwich was served hot and delicious- packed with flavor. And the pita with hummus was a perfect side. What a great value and very good quality. I would highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.
