Gyoza Bar Ann - Brisbane

Good honest, reasonably priced Japanese food is often hard to find in big cities. The Gyoza Bar Ann in Brisbane is located in what can be best described "a small village of fine dining, speciality stores, cafes, fashion and services". Eat outside and watch the world go by!A great Anthony Bourdain quote: "If I were trapped in one city and had to eat one nation's cuisine for the rest of my life, I would not mind eating Japanese. I adore Japanese food. I love it."

The gyoza was disappointing and so was the miso soup. The service was quick. I won't go back there again.

We dined here on Saturday and were not impressed by their uninventive and tired menu.The gyoza options were very poor and tasted cheap an nasty. The deep fried prawn consisted of some weird meat with shallots and 5 percent of actual prawns. It was not enjoyable and we left the majority on the plate.The Katsu curry was ok however no different from 6 dollar food court options through out brisbane.Edamame was the highlight along with my Sapporo beer.

I love Japanese food, so if I'm hungry and looking for a quick meal, this is where I would go. However, you can also meet friends for dinner here as well. The restaurant is clean and located in the city.

I have visited this restaurant so many times that I have lost count. It is my favorite local spot to eat. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are always very friendly. As someone who has been to Japan multiple times, I can also attest to the authenticity of the cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant.
