Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI finally visited this place for their Christmas tea time! The time slots fill up quickly, so make sure to book as soon as you can—unless you’re going during the weekdays. It appeared that they were understaffed, with servers and cashiers hustling around to take care of everything. Despite the rush, they maintained their composure and professionalism, which I appreciated. The food was decent, and while the cakes were visually appealing, they didn’t stand out as spectacular. We didn’t manage to finish the three cakes we ordered.
I tried the sesame, lychee, and bunny cheesecake, and all three were absolutely delicious and delightful to look at! The staff was incredibly sweet and friendly!
My sister and I visited for the holiday tea experience, and it was quite charming! I can see why this place is popular—it's very Instagram-friendly. Overall, the food was decent, but I had a few issues. The snickerdoodle cookies were seriously underbaked and reminded me of raw cookie dough; I could actually squish them back into dough! The turkey bread turned out to be prosciutto instead, and the macarons lacked flavor, though they looked adorable. I wasn't a fan of the sun-dried tomato and mushroom bread, but if you love those ingredients, you might enjoy it. On the bright side, I liked the other bread options, as well as the scone, tart, and gingerbread cookies. The mousse cakes we picked were also quite tasty! However, a significant drawback was the lack of a bathroom. My sister, who is nearly seven months pregnant, had to search for one on her own. The blonde woman at the counter didn't offer any guidance until my sister asked for directions. Due to these issues, we likely won't return. We might consider take-out for the mousse cakes, which were delicious, but it doesn't seem like a great place to sit down. It might even be better if they operated as take-out only since that's what they seem better suited for.
The cake design was stunning. It was fresh and arrived right on time. This is my second order from this place. However, I did have an issue with the box it came in. When I ordered petite sweets from the store, the box top was not very sturdy; it collapsed inwards, causing the sweets to slide off even though the bottom remained intact. By the time I got home, the design was damaged, but the taste was incredible. For my next order, I had a cake delivered. The delivery service was excellent; the cake arrived safely and on time, and the box was much more sturdy this time.
I have ordered from this restaurant a few times and had home delivery in New Jersey. The online ordering process is straightforward, and the website features detailed descriptions and excellent photos of all the items. Every cake I tried was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making you hesitate to eat them. The flavors are delicate and unique, with nothing being excessively sweet. Although it's not the cheapest option—mini individual cakes cost around $10—it's definitely worth it for a special treat or occasion. I highly recommend giving them a try!
